LMAC President Rob Bergevin and the Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the 2019 LMAC Annual Meeting, Convention and Auctioneering Championships will be held at Leduc Alberta.

This is the first time that LMAC has held their convention in north central Alberta. LMAC cordially invites all LMAC members and industry partners to attend the Convention May 30 to June 2 in Leduc and the Canadian Auctioneering Championships, which will be held at Thorsby Stockyards Inc. on May 31, 2019.  LMAC is currently finalizing the topics and speakers for the annual meeting.  Topics will include information on issues that will affect the future sustainability of the livestock marketing industry. 

All conventioneers and sponsors are invited to Alberta Night on Thursday May 10. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with the auctioneers, market operators and industry partners from across Canada. The Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday evening, at which time the new inductee to the LMAC Hall of Fame will be recognized, and the winners of the various competitions will be announced. 
Convention co-chairs Chance Martin and Rick Wright, hosts Thorsby Stockyards Inc. and the Alberta Auction Markets Assoc. along with LMAC President Rob Bergevin invite everyone to Leduc to take part in this exciting event. Please take the time to join us for a weekend of business and a chance to make new connections with other market operators, order buyers, cattle feeders and producers along with industry partners and vendors. 

LMAC executive administrator Rick Wright says this that “this is the first time we have ventured to North Central Alberta for the LMAC convention.  LMAC Auctioneering Champions Chance Martin and Corey Lawrence along with business partner Jeff Fritz will be great hosts and conventioneers will be able to enjoy some new scenery and LMAC hospitality. We have an exciting tour planned for after the business meeting, details will be released in a couple of months.” The LMAC convention is a great place to combine business with pleasure.  All events are open to LMAC members and industry partners; pre-registration is required. This is an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
